Planning APAAR and DigiLocker Integration for Your Campus
A practical framework for preparing student records, authorized access and verification workflows.
Start with reliable student records
Before planning a registry connection, review the quality of your institution's student data. Consistent names, dates of birth, identifiers and supporting records make it easier to investigate mismatches and keep administration work organized.
Confirm authorization before connecting
Government registry integrations require officially authorized access, valid credentials and permitted endpoints. The institution should confirm which services it can access and the permissions that apply to its use. A software proposal should state these dependencies explicitly.
Design a reviewable verification workflow
A proposed workflow can move from a roster upload to field validation, an authorized verification request and a recorded result. Mismatches should go to an administrator for review. A failed or unavailable response should not silently mark a student as verified.
Plan for exceptions and availability
Government and third-party services can be unavailable or return incomplete results. Define retry handling, operational ownership and manual review before rollout. Retain only the information needed for the agreed task.
IDENTICAMP's integration scope
IDENTICAMP's institutional framework includes planning for API Setu, UDISE+, DigiLocker and APAAR-related verification. A live connection depends on approved access, institution-provided credentials and the agreed implementation. These dependencies should be confirmed during the campus demonstration.
